DOI CHAANG – GEISHA COFFEE

As a fruitful world-wide coffee journey of Mr.Wicha “ABOR” of Doi Chaang Coffee, Geisha Coffee is exist at Doi Chang. In 2010, some 40-50 seeds of “Gesha or Geisha” coffee from Ethiopia has been planted at a selected farming lot in the compound of Doi Chaang Coffee Estate. The lot of fertile soil, facing the East with morning sunlight, proper shade from large trees. Even only small numbers of coffee plants grown at the beginning, it was growing fast and only 3and1/2 years it was bear the beautiful cherries. It tasted very good, but the quantity was too small. The first crop of 2013-2014 seeds then been kept for seeding of expansion.

From the recent crop of 2016-17, after proven of quality by un-official cupping from recognize professional both in Thailand and overseas By then, “DOI CHAANG GEISHA” is officially launch in Thailand coffee community with very good quality
